About
Jim McAssey founded the TCO Consulting Group as an independent third-party advisory firm for business and IT leaders. Jim has over 20 years of IT experience in both business development and IT strategist roles. He has led the development efforts for a number of large applications outsourcing engagements, as well as IT strategy engagements to align technology with business objectives. Jim is a Gartner Group certified TCO expert. Previously, Jim worked for Oracle, Lockheed Martin, and General Electric. He has led teams in providing a range of services, including: TCO analysis, solution architecture, hosting, applications management, integration support, and on or offsite dedicated staffing.
Jim has received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Villanova University, an M.S. in Computer Science from Villanova University, and an MBA from the Wharton Business School of the University of Pennsylvania.
