The TCO Consulting Group has a number of services which we offer.  All are completely independent of any service provider or software solution provider.  The TCO Consulting Group works only for its end user clients.   We pride ourselves on own independence, detailed financial/technical analysis, and strategy development experience.  We use the latest industry standard cost approaches, where necessary, like inputs from other independent third parties like the Uptime Institute TM. 

We work closely with our clients to make sure our solutions, our cost models, and approaches map to our client needs.  We iterate every solution with our clients to ensure the right buy-in and ownership can be achieved.  We would like our analysis to be continued and kept up to date throughout a project’s life-cycle.  We put it in a format and provide the side by side training, so those goals can be achieved. Were the defined goals achieved?  If a stated cost or benefit were not correct, how do those changes affect the overall return on investment?  What costs/benefits should the project be providing, and if they are not providing them, why not?

Answers come into focus over time.  Our approach gives you the data to interpret those answers and determine how you are doing at achieving the goals. Those original goals used in deciding to go forward with a project.
